>>55650913Fics are listed by date so if you just search for all the fics for a large franchise, you're going to get a firehose of fics and the law of averages says most of those won't be what you're looking for. To use AO3 you need to either look for specific tags you want, and/or exclude specific tags you don't want. If you're trying to figure out "what fics are good; what's worth reading?" then that's just not really what AO3 is meant for. AO3 has no communication/community functions, it's just a place to store fics. The closest you can do is sort by most comments/kudos but that's not really a great way to find good fics.
