With how many Pokemon there are of each type, how many coverage moves each of these Pokemon have with their continuously expanding movepools, and how readily available all of these things are, it's dumb to say "this type is common".
They're all common now. Go on some random Pokemon analysis page and they always gotta warn how this Poison type is completely obliterated by Psychic and you gotta watch out for (list of 7 common threats that have access to Psychic), even though Psychic is arguably one of the worse attacking types. That's just an example but it really is like that.
