I'm not sure why the anime being named just Pocket Monsters now due to the new period in Japan is supposed to be an argument against Goh staying. A new period started, so they changed up the anime in its overall formula and added extra anime only characters to start a new period of the anime as well. It shouldn't be that hard to grasp.
Combine that with all the other differences he has towards former characters, like being the personification of the one game that exists alongside the main ones, the only game where you (eventually) can catch all Pokémon, being designed by Sugimori (or endorsed by him at least), being from Kanto, having a goal that works easily in any region, being stated as being protagonists with Ash, being set up throughout the whole show as being very close to him (the fujobait probably added to get moms invested more quickly in the character), the characters outright stating they plan to stay together (most importantly the fact that it's Ash who says that, see the end of the Mewtwo episode), the fact he's an entirely newly created character instead of them having used any of the existing game characters... there's probably things I forgot right now, but given all these arguments together paint a clear picture, it is incredibly retarded to try to cherrypick one of these or try to strawman with Cinderace or Project Mew (even though we don't yet know what exact direction it will go, if the team leader is evil, the project just continues into next gen as well or Goh even ends up declining in the end, though that seems unlikely)
Unless you can give me at least one character who has all these arguments going for them (and I mean ALL) but who left after one season, I will not accept any of your repeated arguments as anything but a desperate cope, because for whatever reason Goh's existence in the show triggers you that hard. Because be real, if you really didn't care, you wouldn't keep engaging in this conversation every single time.
