The issue is that Ace Trainers are pretty much rooted in the the sport that is Pokemon battles; you wouldn't really know what the equivalent of a musician would be in your world if instruments somehow didn't exist, would you?
Regardless, /vp/ would probably mostly be made up of Delinquents, Pokemaniacs, and Collectors (pic related).
I would probably be a bug maniac or channeler, though. Point being, likely none of us would be that far above average. Aside from that, the Pokemon world does a good job comparing NPCs to real-world equivalents, so you could look up a trainer picture and immediately know what kind of person it's supposed to represent.
The only people that would be low level shitters, as implied in the anime and some movies, are those that are either young and dumb or don't care/have the time to raise pets.
