Let's Go being a success sent them the message that low effort remakes and spin-offs in disguise are okay. Now we get the worst remake yet and a half-assed open world game without most of what makes Pokemon what it is (trainers, league, multiplayer, more then one town). Remakes will forever be outsourced to literal whos and main games will be empty fields because game freak doesn't know how to do level design in 3D. It's not going to get better. This is the future you chose.
