Niantic only having ex raids on sponsored and "park" gyms is about the stupidest decision they could make, since it essentially means that most cities won't have the right gyms for it despite having a fair number of gyms in total. Getting a Mewtwo at all is ludicrously hard now since
>need to have an elligible gym
>need to raid often enough at said gym
>need to be among the people getting the invite
>need to be available at the time the raid is happening
>need to be enough to take it down
>need to catch it
Thankfully I already have one since I got an invite to the second ex-raid we ever had around here, but now I know that if something else can only be obtained through ex-raids, I'll be fresh out of luck.
