"Goku and Raiden hugged their trainer after waking up"? Who the fuck is Goku? There are 6 pokemon on this team, more in the bank, the last chapter update before this one was a month or more ago, and all 6 pokemon have physical bodies they can hug with. Who the HELL is Goku?
And who's Raiden, not a single one of the pokemon on the team have a sword or metal body or even an ironic edgy personality. Oh, Raiden is the new pokemon he was gifted last chapter and you didn't care to let us know about its new nickname? Oh, you also didn't even tell us what species Raiden was, so even if I did guess it I'd still have nothing to visualize off of, like some sort of twisted surprise? Joy.
I like how The Type Specialist approached this problem. None of the MC's pokemon have nicknames. Whenever a new character has a same pokemon, the new character's pokemon is nicknamed so there are no overlapping names.
