Rayquaza seemed to have an obnoxious fanbase materialise out of nowhere over the last six years, but since it's my second favourite pokemon, there's zero chance of my ever liking it less, especially since I thought it was cool ever since I first seen it in Blue Rescue Team.
Unfortunately it seems to have suddenly developed a fanbase consisting of memers and power-level fags who want to pick fights with fans of any other legendary, which does nothing to enamour them to it. This is surprising because for most of the 2000s it was actually a pretty underrated legendary, virtually no one talked about it and even Blue Rescue Team undersold it a bit after the ending, replacing the boss track and shilling Mewtwo instead.
