When DP came out it's all anyone was playing at my school for 3 years all the way up until HGSS. I fucking loved playing Diamond so much, I have so many memories of playing it all day every day in the summer, and after school, trading and battling with friends, fucking around in the underground and laying traps and such, etc.
Here are a few of my most memorable experiences
>After being stuck on gardenia for like a solid month and a half, just a utterly stupid amount of time, I FINALLY managed to KO her. I was in the middle of fucking home hardware or something with my mom, I remember seeing roserade's HP hit zero and feeling like I couldn't breath because of how shocked I was, I had gotten so used to losing over and over.>My friends all traded me their strongest pokemon to use in a 6v6 double battle against a kid named julian who was essentially a god since he was the only one who had action replay. He had all level 100 legendaries and I was stocked up on level 60-80 starters and like 1 Garchomp level 97. I won the battle with a double flare blitz against his mewtwo and I remember I got worshipped for like a month as the champion of the playground>Finally finding the snowy part of Mt coronet by accident after being stuck checking if the black out was over everyday for like an actual fucking year. The concept of finally getting that 8th badge after so long had become mere legend in my head so finally finding out how to progress the story was insane to me I damn near shit my pants. It helps that it's one of the coolest areas in the game to find
