The artwork, the animations for the models in-game, everything looks so goddamn static and boring.
I remember getting one of those old "Pokedex books" with a magazine back in the day that had every Mon in Ruby and Sapphire and flipping through it just to see Sugimori's iconic as fuck dynamic artwork.
Pic related was always one of my favourites.
Just goes to show just how unwilling to put in effort people become when they're flush with cash I guess.
