Cover some nostalgia-fag ground. First forms of starters, especially gen I and gen II. Togepi, Pikachu and Pichu are also popular.

Eevee and it's evolutions have been getting a lot of press lately, and they are normally a pretty safe bet as well.

Personally, I like Buizel, but probably wouldn't buy one unless it was really nice.

Starter pokemon, Eevee's, and anything remotely related to pickachu.
If you're feeling ballsy, the legendary pokemon might be interesting, or if you're feeling lazy, Voltorb and Electrode might be easier to make than others.

Personally, I'd by the shit out of a Sandslash, parasect, or kingler doll, but I wouldn't recommend them.
