>>51843903>>51844038>Paldea academy is not like prep schoolThen what kind of school is the Paldean academy? Also, it's pretty blatant to me that Iris wouldn't like any type of school that has a dress code with uniforms.
>No they doesn'tAsh, Misty, Brock, Gary, May, Max, Dawn, Paul, Iris, Serena, Clemont, Lillie...
>Not really Ash wasn't even a bad trainerSee below.
>It was just temporary gag where Ash and co kept getting sidetrackedCall it whatever you want to doesn't change that it was an objective character flaw of Ash's that made him lose the league that he overcame by learning the importance of regularly training his mons.
>Ash was never lazyHis neglecting to train his mons in preparation for the Kanto League says otherwise.
>he never overcame his arroganceYes, he did, by the end of AG. Holy fuck did you seriously not fucking watch the show?
>they are exactly the sameWhen Brock first appeared he was incredibly serious and harsh, insulting Ash as a trainer after nearly strangling his Pikachu, all in order to teach Ash a lesson, which is clearly different as opposed to how he acted with other shit trainers he decided to help when he adopted a gentler approach. And the team Rocket that first appeared thought that Ash was nothing more than a pathetic kid and didn't even want Pikachu, and were only interested in stealing pokemon, but now they are so invested in cheering for both of them that they aren't even trying to steal pokemon.
>floating timeline work by keeping the characters same with any major change at allThat clearly isn't absolute as pokemon has given characters major changes over the years.
>Not weI did base my comment that they were boring and uninteresting cliche storylines on the criticism of other people.
>noticed my suggestion are not blatant rip-offThey're either so vague that they aren't even helpful in understanding how they would work in execution or are literally you justsaying you want X characters or storylines from Y show. (1/2)
