>>57170902It's an easy "sophisticated" way of adding difficulty. You can't just make everything higher leveled or have 252 EVs in every stat, that's le stat bloat. You can't just give every enemy busted AG+ tier monstrosities, eventually you'll run out. You can't just give the enemy free weather, terrains, statboosts, etc. since eventually the player will be able to remove all of that or use their own. PULSE3 is great for making overtuned AI exclusive bullshit while also not just obviously number inflating. A pre burned Guts + Hustle + Moxie meganigger or whatever is so much le smarter and better designed than if Roxanne or Brawly have Zygarde-10%/Urshifu, clearly
