I watched OS/AG/DP/XY/SM/JN/MPM and will be watching Horizons. I saw some BW episodes but not all. I haven't watched all series but those are what I have seen.

Nah, even his team reflected it. They didn't fully evolve any of the Unova starters making his team look as unfinished similar to how the Johto team looked.

Keep in mind in AG and DP he had almost all fully evolved pokemon besides Corphish and Buizel, the downgrade of mostly going to unevolved Pokemon again was noticeable.

desu only AG dub OPs were the only ones that were objectively better than JP OPs. I feel OP 1-5 are debatable but anything from DP onwards gets mogged by the JP OPs. Like listen to XY&Z then listen to its dub counterpart.

I do miss the times when the dub OPs got extended version in the movies. Good times

The Ashnime in truth had multiple deaths along the way. It died first with the end of Pokémania and the transition from Johto to AG as the first fans grew up and moved on, leaving a show setting itself for an age of a strict formula in motion.
It persisted with an illusive sense of progress that Ash despite his losses was growing as a trainer until BW and its pseudo reboot kicked all of that down and irked people again, causing a second death. XY came then to 180° that and turn Ash into this super cool epic trainer but it choked in the finish line causing yet another deathly uproar, followed by SM also slapping everything XY stood for in the face. But from SM to JN a tone more or less persisted, and this is the final result. A show that died and unlived multiple times, its real death feels like nothing really noteworthy.

Have they learned nothing from Zacian? Why are they letting it dominate Ubers like Zacian did just to find out that even with DLC it's still broken? National dex already proved that even with Primal Groudon and special defensive Necrozma it was still too strong for the tier so what are they waiting for?

The excuse they used was that they didn't want Ash sweeping new regions with older pokemon he already raised. This was something that happened in early Johto where Ash was sweeping every early-route trainer with his Charizard. In my opinion this reasoning gets thrown out the window when you realize Pikachu will always be in Ash's party regardless of the region and, as a result, gets nerfed hard whenever the plot demands it (Snivy). It was pretty evident in AG and BW that they should've changed the protagonist right then and there.

I knew it, I fucking knew it. People are just mad that Ash will remain an incel for the rest of time. If the episode was exactly the same but it ended with Ash running to Misty, Serena, or whoever and kissing her, I bet 80-90% of complaints about the ending being open or "That's It?" would instantly disappear.

AG. Tyson defeating Pikachu with Meowth in boots was so lackluster. MEOWTH, the Pokemon he always manages to blast off.

Part of me thinks that if the episode was largely the same but the episode ended with a girl (Misty, Serena, whoever) showing up at the road and kissing Ash, the complainers would not be complaining. AG had Ash/Anabel, May/Drew, and Brock/Lucy. DP had Ash/Angie, Dawn/Kenny/Conway, Brock/Tag Battle Girl. XY had Ash/Serena/Millefeui, Clemont/glasses chick, Tierno wanting to fuck Serena. Is Tomiyasu a faggot? Goh/Koharu got nothing. Ash/Serena got nothing and Ash/Misty got a couple scenes of nostalgia baiting then a big fat zero.

Damn I was sceptical but I guess it really did end up being Mega Ray/Zacian level broken. I know they are hesitating because normal Ubers only has 2 box legendary Pokemon right now but once DLC is here it will likely end up getting banned there too then.
