>>53426569Generally agree all around. Pokémon was 4Kids' best dub and arguably the one property besides Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2003 they did a decent to good job with overall for most fans. There were certain low points (e.g. the first two Movies, Chronicles, AG James' goofier delivery) but most of the dub was well done and there was much more good than bad to come out of the 1998-2006 dub for Pokemon.
They also technically helped make Yu-Gi-Oh! a hit overseas in English before people found out how much worse they handled that Series compared to this one in general, but the voice cast for it was talented and a lot still like them there as well under Konami even if the dubs are still terrible there otoh.
Yeah, basically almost all the OST being replaced more than ever has been what broke the straw on the camel's back for most still following the dub by XY, if the overhaul of the original English voice cast for worse successors and all the writers being purged saved Cathcart as well didn't in late AG.
