>>53134871>So you start making things up now ? Majority of Twitter complaining about TR getting less screentime, specially Dogasu. Why do you think the TRio got their screentime cut after XY? Because people were sick of the TRio getting shoehorned in every episode in Johto, AG, and DP. The writers tried reworking their characters in BW to be more serious and threatening, and give them new life in the anime, and even that didn't work. The fact of the matter is, your argument doesn't hold any water with reality. If it did, the writers would've listened to the feedback and found a way to work the TRio into every SM/JN episode, like they had in past seasons. They didn't.
>Not as much as when Ash not in the episode.People have been bitching about Ash's portrayal and development since the BW days when he got rebooted. Where have you been?
>Because people stop watching TV as a whole. By your logic, the most popular anime should be Sanae-san because that the anime gets more rating than any other show. Even an experience animator said that the most important thing about TV Anime is the merchandise sales qnd DVD sales. For your information, Pokémon is still one of the top 5 most profitable anime in TV Tokyo ranking which provesthat the anime doing just fine.People still watch TV though and ratings are still counted for a reason. Taking that out of the equation though, your argument that Ash and the TRio still falls flat because apparently, they aren't carrying merchandise and DVD sales. What happened to the Ash AU movies? How come Ash couldn't carry those and we haven't had a movie in recent years? You act like Ash, Pikachu, and the TRio are the cornerstones of the franchise and these massive money-makers. They aren't, at least, not anymore.
Answer me this: if you were correct in your way of thinking, why are Ash and Pikachu getting retired? If they are so valuable, so profitable, why end it now, after 25+ years?
