>>52625998>Sorry if it sounded like I was accusing you of lying or pushing you to share more information. No worries. 99% of leakers are full of shit, and I'd assume I'm full of shit if I were in your shoes.
>I was just wondering if you had heard anything new since you posted last now that leakers are just coming right out and saying 136 is it.Nope. I could ask around again, but doing so would probably make it pretty easy for anyone else at TPCi that might be browsing this board to connect the dots, and then I could be screwed.
>Does TPC usually keep you guys in the dark, or are they typically pretty good about keeping you in the loop?Entirely case by case. Sometimes we hear general plans nearly a year in advance, such as the "M24 worked on at the same time as S26 prep" stuff very early this year, and sometimes we don't. I'm going to be blunt with you, I haven't seen any dub materials beyond the Ash vs. Leon battle. If anyone has them beyond that point, I'd assume it's the initial script translator, Cathcart and his team, and maybe Lisa Ortiz and Goldfarb and their teams. Obviously, I don't know because I'm not in any of their departments. The latest stuff I've seen is 131, hence why I don't claim to be an oracle for the future. By the time I know the stuff you guys want to know, we'll all know already and nobody will give a shit.
>I would've thought you and others would've been told by now if the 54 number was indeed a mistake.Yeah, sometimes, and sometimes not. My people have been insistent to the point of matter-of-factness as recent as 134 airing in Japan that 54 is the number. When I even expressed a little question at it, I was bluntly told "No, it's still 54." So, if I have bad info there, it's because all of us have bad info.
