>>51745102I used to play Neopets a long time ago. I hated how I missed out on every event and opportunities that my 10 year old ass gave up a few times. Sometimes, I checked back and saw all the updates and wished I was up to speed. Today, Pokemon Masters is that game that I'm up to speed with, and feel that they're not going to stop any time soon. So I'll feel a little more proud with, say, a five year old account.
I'm also playing FGO, and I can see the strategies the two of them have. FGO doesn't really have a pity system in place, so you can lose 400 or 700 or 1000 quartz for one copy. But they find ways to get you sucked in. Pokemon Masters, on the other hand, doesn't have to do all the gacha tricks because the brand Pokemon sells itself.
So, where you have to spend months in advance, in anticipation for a banner that might pop only once every other year, to get a Servant you really want, in FGO. Vice Pokemon Masters where you it's almost like shopping for clothes to get a new pair, considering when it comes to anything Pokemon, they know their fans (or consumers) will get into that collector's mentality. Because, fuck bros, Champion Stadium and Battle Villa is like practically nothing now.
tl;dr, waiting for Nessa to appear in the lodge
