We have seen GameFreak, for so many of us, doing this shit for 35 years, giving us half finished games with core issues, behind technologically, etc... It's the same shit for now this long and, sure, some dumbass will try to argue his favorite gen is the best and here are the reasons why what I'm saying is not true but, if everyone was being honest, these games have been lackluster on many points for decades.
As technology advance and video games became less of an experiment for game companies, we began to want better quality so we sometimes forget or excuse the lack of quality in older games but it's there sometimes. And with GameFreak, it always there. Even to this day, with that much experience, they keep shitting things up on simple but important things. And they won't change, we all know it so we just have to choose either we really want a specific game or if it's not worth it for us. We can't stop casuals and parents to buy these games en masse anyway so just have fun and take your time before buying anything from GameFreak.
