I am not sure where to post this, since the /toy/ pokémon thread is dead, but I recently bought a new Arceus sofubi from when the movie about him released. I did this because I had the same exact sofubi when I was little and wanted to see how much it's different from the new one.
Well today it came in. Mine is way more short, for some reason, probably the limbs giving in? It's also way more yellowed out, has a lot more paint scuffs and it seems like he went through three different world wars. Compared to the shiny new one it's like they're two different figures altogether. It's kind of depressing but at the same time I'm glad I have so many memories of him and me pretending to replay the movies in my head. Moral is, love changes things, I guess?
