>>49171239Introducing a super pretty love interest for Ash is not really that hard since the anime could just bring other female protagonist like Gloria, Rosa, Hilda , Leaf or design an anime only girl based on a younger version of Nessa.
What is truly hard is to adjust that girl and implement her crush in the show specially when Pokemon is long running anime with no overreaching plot where the protagonist is just 10 year old and does not age! This is why Serena failed so miserably since XY series didn't gave any thought into her character outside of her crush on Ash and Bloomboltshipping shall fail the same way.
Not to mention that the current writing staff doesn't know how to write good female characters anymore since they kept overusing the same ' Generic nice girl too insecure about her goal' archetype with Serena, Lillie and Koharu. This is why Misty and Marnie are better choice since they has the personality needed to pull it off as Ash's love interest.
