Meowth falls in love with the other cat Pokemon of the Gen and kicks everyone's ass until it evolves into a selfish, fatter version of itself. Women, am I right, fellas? It's a Team Rocket focused episode that isn't about one of them not really being a sociopath is an interesting idea. It's also heavily comedy based, rather than unexpectedly maudlin or touching, which fits their vibe a lot more too.
>>53983103You know, for all the unnecessarily autistic math tracking I do, I miss the really obvious shit. It didn't even occur to me that there are NO men in the Performance Showcases, but since I watched XY first, I guess I assumed that that was just the expectation. May's two main rivals were male in Drew and Harley (you can add Solidad at the end too; Robert kind of fucks off never to be seen again), and her one-off rivals had a pretty even balance of genders. Dawn had Zoey, Urara and Jessie, but also Kenny and Nando. Slightly different gender shift, but still, people other than cute girls can win Contests. The same probably can't be said of Performance Showcases. What the fuck?
