Calem/Serena? Nobody who mogged Serena/Calem whose parents were Aces.

Victor/Gloria? The one and only true 200% case of knowing the right person. If they weren't Hop's neighbor they wouldn't even have been able to enter the Galar League thanks to how retarded the rules are there. Literally nepotism. Unironically.

So when you get to it only the Gen 8 MC depended on luck/knowing someone to reach where they got. Everyone else is literally built different and had in fact rivals and opponents who were the ones who had the luck/knew other people giving them the head start.
