I miss Pokemon SS.
It was flawed, but genuinely cozy, and more beautiful than SV.
If only it received the proper last 2 DLC patch instead of having its dev cycle stunted by PLA.

It was the last Pokemon game to not trivialize shinies, while at the same time, giving them a fair odd at grinding out in Dens and special events.
It's harder to find Shinies in PoGo than in ScaVio...

Overhated because of Dexcut.

Specially now after the abomination that is SV, I sincerely cannot comprehend how people can still hate this game so much.

It looks so much better than SV both graphically-wise and design wise. At least Galarian Pokemon were alive, these new pokemon look like they are made outta plastic.

Even if they never made a Legends game, they still wouldn't have spent more time adding all the pokémon back for you. That's why they then moved onto Legends, as they had no more plans for SS except handing out the shiny Galarian Birds in 2022 (Ohmori acted as producer and group manager for the pokémon creation team for L: A, thing which don't require the lion's share of a person's attention or focus, while directing the entire development of SV).
It's staggering, they evolve for the better (now extra content is 100% NEW extra content, instead of just rehashing the existing content) and autistic bitches cry "it's changed and it sucks".

That's because you need to check everything one-at-a-time, this was always going to happen when they started putting more than 5 pokémon spawns at any one time on the field.

I think Zarude is more of a movie pokemon than a galar pokemon if it makes sense.
Melmetal could be one of the first Gigantamax mon as alluded to in the pokedex entry.
No idea for the regis unfortunately they seem to have temple in abandoned or isolated places.

Yes, taking options away from the player on how they want to play is generally viewed as a bad thing and not a QoL feature. How would me being allowed to turn this feature off somehow make your playthrough worse?

SWShit's QoL updates, like teachable egg moves and the Hidden Ability Capsule, are one of the few things I actually praise the game for doing right. Forced exp share is not a QoL feature because, again, it takes options from the player.

Dynamax was so shit it only stuck around for a single game and Gen 8 has some of the worst monster designs in the franchise (Eiscue, Calyrex, Carkol, Eternatus).

There is not even anything skillful or interesting about this. Non-shared XP is not a "feature" it is an archaic, poorly designed game mechanic.

I'm 27 and I have fond memories from playing Pokemon Red, Yellow, Gold, Crystal, Emerald, Pearl... but I'm not mentally ill enough to let nostalgia make me defend shitty game design that is just a time sink.
