>>58531995I mean, compare Raihan to the eighth gym leaders of other regions and his team isn't that outstanding, he would kick Wulfric and Volkner's arses, but he would get demolished by Giovanni, Clair would very likely kick his ass, hard to say on Wallace or Juan, they have the type advantage but awful teams, Drayden and Iris would be tough competition and Grusha despite being an Ice leader with mediocre mons could put up quite a challenge if he played his cards right.
Raihan is just an overhyped celebrity and the Galar league is extremely corrupt. Duraludon is a fucking awful Pokemon, and Raihan even with his best team doesn't really stand much of a chance against quite a few champions, I think even Diantha kicks his ass despite being a busy actress who just so happens to be champion compared to Raihan who's only profession is being a battler.
