Nope. Irisfags don’t care about this. It just upsets Cynthiafags schizophrenic minds when people don’t go with their delusion that it was a clean sweep or that Cynthia didn’t increase her strength and defenses when Iris didn’t have access to that specific power. Why Irisfags are crying because she lost in the first round is beyond me. It's not rooted in any logic. If XY remakes came out and they had to choose between Diantha and Iris, they're doing Diantha. It would be horrible marketing to allow Cynthia (or any Champion with current remakes) to lose the first round. At the end of the day, the anime is a commercial and they had to get BDSP and Legend marketed. You're stupid if you're mad about that.

-Haxorus lost and got fucked up in the process.
-Garchomp was left undamaged, meaning it never got pushed in that fight.
-later we see BASE Garchomp (after taking a Meteor Assault to the face) able to trade equal blows with M-Lucario who had 2 power-ups

End result is: 4 gimmick Ash > 2-gimmick Cynthia ? 3 gimmick Ash > Leon

/padt/ post-purge wasn't really that bad until Dawn's first return when we got a bunch of newfags coming here insisting that Dawn would be a main character for the rest of the series even though she was only brought back for BDSP/PLA promotion. Serena's return also brought in a ton of undesirable posters, then finally you had the M8 and the influx of Cynthiafags and Irisfags.
