Similarly Johnny Yong Bosch was a better Brock in Origins than Bill Rogers, but Eric Stuart was best at it.
The recast was for the worst, in this Series' case: ironic, given most other Series dub's improved over time, Pokemon's worsened and especially XY onward is indefensible dubbed (SM/JN in particular, I've seen very few defending). Then again, Veronica Taylor and the old dub voice cast did say TPCi only moved the dub originally back to TAJ to cut costs on production: they claimed they went to DuArt to boost it back up, but the dub got worse under DuArt by late BW than it ever was at 4Kids or TAJ in 10 years and later DuArt + the LA Iluno Group studios produced the worst Pokemon English dubbed sagas as well.
If TPCi wants to stop being worse than 4Kids ever was at their own mainline Series dub, moving to LA was a good start but they need to seriously take
>>53389929Natochenny was genuinely worse than Taylor as Ash, but I don't even think it's necessarily her fault fully or the current cast for the subpar-bad voice acting, TPCi's dubs in general outside Origins have been pretty hit or miss and even unbearable voice acting wise. Two things TPCi can't seem to do for shit, voice acting and opening theme songs.
