>>51657175>In the episode with Project Mew about the Regi-Duo, he readed out loud his mission notifications, not by Voicemail.Sorry, I'm not sure I follow. Goh's not going to read every one of his notifications out loud in detail to Ash. Earlier on, when he was trying to get into PM, it made sense for him to, because Ash always wanted to come along and help. That's no longer the case. Ash can't come along, even if he wasn't competing in a tournament and was free. Goh doesn't have to go into detail (or maybe no details were given in the notification/text) and simply told Ash he was summoned.
>First is a good point, but OLM is ruins some of the scenes in the long run, this time IF he's just lying it would be the short run. And Ash isn't bothered if someone lies to him, he would be either wants an explaination or is rather touched by Goh's effort to call up everyone (Excluding Serena for the obligational Recton-joke).True, OLM does ruin some scenes in the long run.
Ash may not be bothered if someone lies to him (though I'm not sure I agree with this entirely), I can't see Goh, with his history of failed friendships and being hurt by others, lying so easily to the guy that has turned out to be the best friend he's ever had. There's also no indication in Goh's face/voice that he's not being truthful. No hints or foreshadowing. He seemed completely sincere. Someone who isn't a practiced liar isn't going to lie that good, imo.
I could just be way overanalyzing things, though.
