Will the next pokemon anime have a cute girl like Ruli as the Lead girl? Its irritate me that Digimon has attractive girl in the lead while PM has Goh & Koharu. Now to think it Ghost Game seem to mog PM series due to better animation, decent cast and attractive eye candy.

Sure that we can mock Ghost Game for its writing but PM series writing isn't noteworthy ether. The only difference is the fillers on Ghost Game doesn't feel as unbearable as any PM episode outside PWC. Actually I would like Ghost Game style episode where Ash or other main character fight ''Villain of the Day'' with different pokemon to solve the crisis. I mean Dragonite can easily become as strong or stronger than Canoweissmon due to Air Slash, Dragon Claw, Iron Head and Fire Blast.

Nearing the end of my DP rewatch, finally in the depths of the Sinnoh League, and what a timely episode to hit as well lmao.
You know, despite the animation not being as fluid as the Masters 8 can be, I still like these battles a lot more for one simple reason, impact. This has been a problem in PM in general but my god they cannot make a hit feel substantial for the life of them. The final hit for Pikachu on Metagross for example was so frigging weak. DP meanwhile really makes impacts feel like they hit hard.
Of course, neither's animation can hold up against the Kalos league

Unless there's an actual break on the anime so that OLM can actually take a real rest and re-structure everything or they decide to stop animating everything but Pokemon the production issues plaguing Pokemon will continue unto the next series.
