>>53126198There is nothing wrong with doing something new but the writing staff uses idea that are so bad from the start that its doom to fail and they often ignore better material from the game to push their stupid idea. Here is some example

Anime : Lets throw away Team Plasma and make Ash behave like a newbie again so we can make him lose to an inexperienced racist blond lone wolf kid. If people speak against it then we will punish them by forxing Ash to lose the Unova league to a noob who forgot to bring a 6th pokemon.

Anime : Nope, lets bet everything to our chunni self insert Alain who get a Mega Charizard X right from the beginning and wins everything. He will be so cool, strong and invincible like Yusei that everybody will want him to as the new protagonist instead of Ash.
