I was just hoping that maybe interesting theories got crafted during the airing that could shine different lights on episodes, etc. /padt/, for all the autism, has always tended to bring weird, yet interesting perspectives, pop culture parallels, etc. The Yajima interview was something I already owned, and I read it in Japanese a few years back, but never bothered to translate it myself. (It, however, did inspire me to dig up the Princess Mononoke documentary Yajima said inspired him to pursue animation.)
