>>51799872I like him as a character. Some of my favorite Goh-centric episodes are 15, 32, and 62, because they partly deal with his backstory and touch on his insecurities. I wanted the writers to delve deeper into these plotlines, but unfortunately that didn't happen.
I enjoy his PM episodes because they usually have an instance or two that either forces him to acknowledge his weaknesses or challenges him to come up with solutions, which often reflect his growth as a trainer and person. I wanted more of this too, because I feel there were more opportunities for character development (and because I liked the variety the PM missions offered).
But in general, yeah, I like his character design, personality, and think he has genuinely funny moments. Shipping is a part of the reason I like him, but it's not the main reason.
