Prior to KO'ing Lucario, Dragapult had already fought off Dracovish and Dragonite. Lucario had only beaten a Mr. Rime who had already battled Gengar and SirFetch'd.
>Ash at full power > Leon at full power As a trainer, Leon is far above Ash. Disregarding gimmicks, he's done a better job building up his team to the point where they don't need gimmicks. This is in contrast to PM Ash who is regurlarly on the backfoot against his opponents and only pulls off a win because of gimmicks or an asspull. This is in contrast to previous seasons where Ash would get creative with his strategies to overcome any disadvantages he may have.
It's why this battle isn't getting a lot of hype. Even the battle vs Kukui was better because it was a battle on equal footing, and it also showed that Ash is capable of beating him without Z-Moves. I don't get that impression from Ash vs Leon.
