>>58605360>Watching a shitty movie is something different. You don't have to interact with it. And even then, no one watches the same shitty movie over and over again. They watch it once.Sounds like a skill issue to me. My friends used to watch the same shitty movie every other month back in middle school, and we used to look for the worst possible games to try to find one that's so bad it's good. You should try it some time, sounds like you lead a very boring gamer life.
>Also, SwSh's story isn't "so bad it's funny", it's just bad. It makes very little to no sense, it has no buildup, it has no consequences>It's just shit and stupid.Yeah, that's what makes it so funny! It's a complete waste of time that hits you like a fever dream, I love it when shitty games do that.
>You're either trolling or an unironic shit eater. It sounds like you have no palate. Growing up means you can appreciate things that aren't necessarily good, but can offer things other versions of that media can't offer. Sure, most of the time I play good games or games that I like, but every once in a while, I play once of this shitty movie games that they made a ton of back in the 80s, 90s and 2000s just to change things up, and THAT'S the crux of the conversation.
SwSh is shit in a way no other Pokémon game is, and that's what makes it so fun to laugh at for me. SV is just a waste of my time, same thing for SM and USUM for that matter. I'd rather play any other monster-collecting RPG than waste my time with those games, because they don't give me anything different than what other RPGs can provide. As far as I'm concerned, those games are objectively worse to play, and therefore obsolete. On the other hand, very few RPGs have such a rushed story, with such obvious flaws and exposed cords, while also having the bizarre mechanics of SwSh. The whole game feels like a fever dream, and it's a feeling I always wanna have access to, even if it's not a great feeling to have all the time.
