Justifications: They kind of look alike, they're both depicted as having been betrayed by humanity and then exacting revenge upon it (Arceus movie and Ultra games). Arceus's body reacting to the Z crystals is very sus considering they're fragments of necrozma. Both are depicted being worshipped in their respective world (Legends Arceus and Pokemon SM anime) t's never been explained whether Ultra Space was created by Arceus or is its own thing so that would clear it up.

They're not admins though. That being said it's strange to me how scientists who are lower ranked than the admins have names and unique designs and the admins don't, especially considering the past few gens had named admins/commanders/sages/whatever, and did the same going forward with SM. I'm kind of impressed ZA managed to make me actually care about Team Flare and made me wanna see more of them.

Thing is, they specifically said LZA Pokemon won't be able to go back, because LZA added a new language to the list of supported languages.
And Pokemon is FAMOUSLY stubborn about not going backwards to compatibility patch older titles (XY never got updated to support ORAS Megas and Hoopa Unbound, SM never got updated to support USUM Z-Moves and mons, etc...), especially in an instance where it'd require them to commission entirely new localizations for those games.

That’s actually how it works a lot of the time. e.g. that’s how people figured out Lillie, Gladion, and Lusamine were related before the reveal back when SM came out.

I would have gone with Mega Porygon-Z being a fully debugged and fixed Porygon-Z. So like Porygon at peek proficiency. The opposite of how most Mega according to SM are the Pokemon screaming in pain, this would be the Pokemon functioning as intended.

That was basically Kanto shilling. SM/USUM came out during the 20th anniversary so Red/Blue getting aged up and appearing in the tower was purely for fun, nostalgia purposes. None of the other characters that were added in had any thought behind them. GF probably wanted to add some popular characters from each Gen hence why Wally and Grimsley are there too for no purpose at all

Gen 8 was hated because it was an even more watered down experience than SM. It took all of SM's worst qualities, dialed them up to 11, removed the good and interesting parts then repackaged it. The character designs and music are good though I'll give it that.

Doesn't Pokémon infamously have the worst stories out of the big JRPG franchises though? Outside of arguably BW and SM, the stories are shallow and mostly just an excuse to justify more gameplay (because it would be weird if the game just transitioned from route to route to battle to battle with no explanation why this is happening until the end). SV was neat for Pokémon story standards but basically nothing happened until the very end of the game. Story focused games have big plot beats happening throughout the experience.

Only in half of one of SM version's edgelord dex entires, even though Mega Evolution in Gen 6 was described as being the positive result of the bond between the trainer and Pokemon.

Having seen all movies up to movie 15, Movie 3 (Entei) is probably the undisputed best.

Best season is harder for me to pin down. The original series was the zaniest and most fun but inconsistent, most of Advance, DP, and XY were fine.
So I'd really just note that Johto felt weaker for having too much samey feeling filler, BW is bad for Ash being a drooling retard and having to ditch its overarching plot, and I just didn't get into SM and dropped the anime there.
