So many of them just do no or little level of research for stuff that isn't even hard to find out. Hell, half of them probably haven't even checked out half of the sub games, and even *I* did that. Especially given the face a lot of the weirder, more interesting stuff isn't even common knowledge.
Even today, most pokeconsoomers don't even know BW2 had a literal WHITE(2) FUCKS DOGS movie in the Pokestars Studios despite the game forcing them to at least check it out. Or stuff like Pokepark 2 having the BW voice cast for the Pokemon, the various manga (like there being two different Dppt series, and mangas for a lot of the anime movies), Shudo's various crazy ideas, the ORIGINAL 1996 Pokedex, or how many dropped ideas there were even across just the anime...
