>>47131515>BW: No Ash. Hilbert, Hilda, Iris, and CilanHold on to your asses, folks, we're going into fanfic territory! So Ash wins to Sinnoh League, and he's gone. Yay. BW starts off with a new protag, or should I say PAIR of protags. The "primary" protagonist is a young boy from Nuvema Town named Hilbert (or something else, ideally this character is given the same amount of differences that Ash has from Red), a rather clumsy, dense boy, sorta like Ash but much less emphasis is put on overconfidence. He makes the same mistakes Ash does during BW, but it's okay since he's actually a newbie, unlike Ash. His main rivals are Stephan and Cheren. Trip, Virgil, and Cameron don't exist. The "secondary" protag is Hilbert's twin sister, Hilda. She's basically what Iris tried to be: the older sister who constantly makes fun of the main character but deep down has his best interest at heart. Since she's his sister, actually knows how dumb Hilbert can be, and thus the needling is justified, and even then, at a certain point it would become less frequent and ultimately stop. And she herself has her own goal: to compete in Pokémon Musicals, at which Bianca is her main rival. Why? I dunno, I just don't see Bianca as the gym-battling type. Sometime during the B2W2 arc, Hilda's outfit is changed to match Rosa's. Ash's BW Team is split between the two of them (Hilbert gets six, Hilda gets four). Iris is reverted to her in-game self: A hyperactive, cheerful girl and a battling prodigy. She's also the youngest of the group. Cilan is perfect the way he is. No changes. The story of the series goes as originally planned before the earthquake. Despite improving across the series, Hilbert is unable to win the league, and after navigating the Decolore Islands and meeting Bianca, the team goes their separate ways. Iris goes to Johto, Cilan stays in Kanto, Hilda goes to Hoenn, and Hilbert goes with Bianca to Kalos.
