But most of the popular protagonist are the complete opposite of all these. Goku, Luffy, Ichigo, Edward Eric, Lelouch, Light Yagami, Yusuke, Tyson, Inu yasha and many other acts the opposite of those quality and keep their negative trait yet their are pretty much legendary.
I guess Ash was better off with his original series as long as he remained a competent and experience trainer that does not loses.
