>If a TM from a row of quizzes is able to give a sense of Accomplishment, but not the regional gimmick, that's when you fucked up.The regional gimmick doesn't need to give a sense o accomplishment when it's as normalized in it's region as Tera is. In Kalos, being able to utilize Mega evolution was a sign of a strong trainer an an equally strong bond with their Pokemon. Very few trainers in either XY OR ORAS even Mega at all.
In Alola, Z-Rings are handed out to those who take their big coming of age trials, and more Z-Crystals are only obtained by triumphing in said trials. More trainers use Z-Moves here than Megas in Gen 6, but it's still largely saved for big shots.
In Galar, you're just handed the Dynamax Band by Magnolia because, surprise surprise, Dynamax Energy is everywhere and normalized. There was more reverence for you joining the fucking league than there was for getting access to the gimmick. Lo and behold, Dynamax Pokemon are literally everywhere in the Wild Area, and anyone can use it effectively as long as they're on a Power Spot, as sown by the League-Challenger randos in the post-game using it just as well as the Gym Leaders and former champ
The same is done here. Tera is all over the region-random mons in the wild can have excess of it leading to a strange Tera type Raid crystals are in literally every corner of the region, and you get a recharge of it by hopping by the equivalent of a fucking trucker pit stop. It's a difference in execution predicated entirely on the context of the gimmick, and if you can't understand that you're a braindead troglodyte.
