I can appreciate that they actually got his goal right, seeing that most poketubers dont, I noticed that they keep falling into the tourist trap of OS and XY(both are mid-ok). they did mention every gen at least once they keep making the same twitter normie level refences. I was very disappointed in there knowledge of the anime.

Yeah nah seriously though, imagine being a violetcuck. Literally all of them are just "X pokemon but robot" (or XX & XY pokemon at the same time in the case of valiant) -- literally all of them are called "Iron X" too -- whereas as scarlet bros get vampire jigglypuff with whore makeup called "SCREAM TAIL" and more of the most based shit you could ever imagine.

Ansha's/Donut minigame theme sounds great from the trailers and I'm not sure if the city theme is a very slow version of Anistar City theme or based in the Gate theme from XY. The reason XY's themes are extremely mishandled is largely Pedohmori's fault, he took over XY's development after Masuda was kicked out and had (still doesn't) any idea what the fuck he is doing, sadly Gamefreak is only kicking him out of directing after gen 10, and from what little we know gen 10 already seems like shit due to Ohmori's retardation.
Almost every single problem with modern Pokemon can be tied directly to Pedohmori.
We saw how ambitious the early versions of XY were under Masuda's guidance, for as many issues as he had, funny bugs in anus man was the only left to give a fuck about Pokemon.

I disagree. SV's battles gives me the same bad memorability as XY's, but for more reasons given its laughable presentation. The only battle that even came close was Kieran's Champion match.

Part of making a good JRPG is balancing the encounters based on the level you're expected to be at. There's two ways to fuck it up; the enemies being too powerful and you have to grind (notable example being Dragon Quest 2), or the enemies being too weak so you just steamroll with no issue. Because Game Freak only had such a small amount of time to design the game, they tended to use older Pokemon that they knew the stats of and on average undershot what the level should be because they'd rather make a game for children too easy than make another DQ2. Whitney is an exception because she was given an okay new Pokemon with a move that has tremendous snowball potential, meaning most people found her hard but anyone that got good RNG and didn't get fucked by Rollout got the intended experience. Pretty sure the DS is the GBA's successor, the "third pillar" thing was just marketing speak. You can look into the various Game Freak and Nintendo leaks if you really want to know, it should contain everything relevant. Most of DP's problems come down to GF not really getting 3D development, it's why they had to poach people from Genius Sonority who had experience with 3D.

The part about "remaking the models" from the Dexit interview was completely bullshit and made up by the translator. What Masuda meant was "new animations." I.e, every Pokemon in every game has to have new animations for new things they add in with each game, and that gets exponentially harder to do every time if they have to do it for every single Pokemon that exists because they can all be transferred into each game even if they're not catchable. So every Pokemon in SwSh would need models for everything that a Pokemon was capable of doing in SwSh, and then any new things that got added in Legends Arceus, or SV, or Z-A, etc.

It's still a bullshit excuse that reeks of laziness when they could just fucking tell TPCI that the budget needs to fucking go up, they're the most profitable media franchise in the entire fucking world, the games don't have to have shoestring budgets, but it has nothing to do with remaking models. That said, starting in SV, they have actually updated models and animations since XY. Some Pokemon that were always flying on the 3DS (because of XY's sky battles) like Charizard and Tropius aren't flying at all times anymore.
