>>58727473Based genuine fan. Anyone who complains about the release schedule either doesn't play the TCG, or hasn't been around for decades. The pace of releases has been pretty set in stone since the DPPt era, and even down to having a "Charizard" set, which I think started from XY.
>Personally the hobby will not be considered fixed until im able to just walk in a story anytime and grab an etb. Or if I can just go online without need a shitty discord ping just to buy some boxes. Ive lived through so many hypecycles and this is the only one that makes me feel grim about the future.I think it's becaause it's so completely twisted now because of how much money people spend and want to make from the hobby. Even when PoGo brought some interest back in 2016, there still wasn't much/any money in the hobby because it was still 99% kids or legacy fans who never left the franchise. Even renewed interest during those hype cycles was purely for love and fun.
Whereas now it's every trendhopping fuck trying to make a quick dollar and the reason why they get back into the hobby is solely to make money. There is zero passion at the moment and the amount that people are hoarding is obscene
