If they were concerned about the people that cared about the XY league, why did they make it a "gifted league" that makes XYfags seethe to this day? Surely they would have made Ash the "badass" he was in XY and given him the "proper" win he was "robbed of" then if they did truly care about appeasing the people who were, and still are, assblasted.

I got around to seeing XY to see why it's so polarizing here and for a while I thought it was kinda slow with good animation and a moment of brilliance here and there, but nothing to write home about.

Then the fucking haircut episode happened and HOLY SHIT. The show just picked up in quality, even the fillers improved. XYZ alone was kino after kino. Except the league but I already knew about that so no hopes to dash.

I'm sold, XYfags. You won.
