This is probably the biggest lie ever spoken on VP. It doesn't matter if Amour shippers openly supported this, it was always going to be met with animosity. Simply because XY is the only season where the feelings the girl partner has for Ash is actually addressed and built upon through out. And to top it off, there was a kiss at the end. Also, I hate to break it to you, but the attitude shown during that spam is one reason why many people hate Amour. It was annoying as fuck and even people who are neutral or don't support any ship found it annoying. The Amour hate didn't come out of nowhere: it's because, frankly, Amourshippers are some of the brashest and abrasive shippers out there. Pokeshippers and Pearlshippers are bad in their own way but Amourshippers are at a whole other level.
