To clarify on the starters:
Snivy line is basically what you're thinking of for Tepig: they have their attacking power slightly reduced in exchange for them having better defenses. Snivy also has Contrary as its secondary ability. Even though I am thinking about replacing overgrow outright in exchange for Thick Fat but I don't think that would make too much sense (I want to make changes that are plausible enough for the Pokemon to have). Plus it'd remove its 4x weakness to ice, which I think is a bit... Unbalanced? I don't know. I am open to doing Thick Fat if there's no other good choice.
Oshawott line are kind of the inbetweens of Snivy and Tepig, being the slowest of the three. But having the most well rounded defenses, and the most expansive movepool. Oshawott also has its attacking stats switched (actually the idea to do the romhack in its current form was from a post like a week or so ago that basically said that Oshawott should've been physically offensive) Also starting from Dewott, they are Water/Fighting. At the moment their second ablility is Shell Armor. Considering also giving it Adaptability since samurai (could be wrong though lol).
Also the Tepig line at the moment has at least Thick Fat as a secondary ability. Leaning more on Reckless, desu. Hustle seems a bit too much as for example: Pignite has an attack of 110, even though the reduced accuracy and bulk might be a fair enough trade off. I'd have to see, lol.
