>everyone complaining about disappearing featuresWhile I understand your frustrations, I might be able to explain WHY this happens. GameFreak has two different project teams running simultaneously. While one was working on Black/White, the others were working on X/Y. Because they aren't in constant communication, one will think up and implement it's own functions without giving the info to the other team. That's why things return in the 3rd installment- Team 1 has time to catch up with what Team 2 was doing, take the best features, and put them in the game they were working on.
Yes, this is a retarded way of working, and they leave a lot of things on the cutting room floor (I want my pokemon following me again), but hopefully it makes more sense then "GameFreak is just retarded."
