Gen 1 Blizzard, Night Shade, PETAL DANCE, Razor Leaf, lots of them were awesome
Gen 2 Nightmare (or was that Ghost Curse, with the ghost flying around?)
Gen 3 - Ruined many moves, like Hydro Pump, Hyper Beam and Solarbeam :( I agree that Dragon Claw was great. I also liked Aerial Ace.
Gen 4 - Shadow Ball is one of the best.
Gen 5 - Didn't play.

To this day I still don't know what led GF o think that replacing a fucking ray of pure energy for a few colored balls flying to the oponnent was a good idea

This. And Metal Claw, they both had awesome gaping wound effects in Gen III with blood-like stuff appearing in the claw marks.

Even for a brief second that shit was cool. Now it's just a generic claw attack like how Bite/Crunch and the Elemental fangs are the same thing.
