It was a gradual thing, unlike the week of speculation the Mewtwo form got, only to be announced official and a bunch of random genwunners pretending like they care about the series. Fairy Type was more impacting, by far, and when it was finally released, I honestly couldn't believe my eyes, even though I knew it was Fairy Type from the beggining.
