They relly fucked up the level layout imo
Now they're just rings, instead of hallways. It'd been much better if they decided to expand the idea of the hallway and turn each level into a labyrinth or dungeon of some sort

That would be cool.

Working through hoards of enemies to a boss. It would make it feel more like a mission than just random levels
