What's /vp/'s experience with Legendaries? Have you always been able to make it to an event? What if you don't? Do you consider 'cheating' to be an illegitimate way of catching the legendary if there's no other way?

I've gotten a few legendaries from events, and a few from official wifi distros, a few of the legendaries that I have are from trades in the wifi thread on /vp/ though, Pokemon bank will be the final test on those haha, I'd rahter not have illegally obtained pokemon, or hacked pokemon, even though, I do just throw them in the pc and leave em there.

I don't consider obtaining an event Pokemon through something like http://www.pokegts.us/ to be cheating provided you obtain the specific event version of that Pokemon and it was available in your country.
