Just sent out a couple Frogadier from Friend Safari, some with Protean, some Modest, and all with PokeRus.

Got my fist foreign Ditto and another Japanese Goomy. Now I can breed some Protean Froakie with the chance of getting a shiny as I do. Any rejects go out to the WT, with the hope someone enjoys them. That's what makes it worth it to me.

What we really need to do is just stop passing the buck on Shitmons. It only encourages the cycle of stupidity.

What I like to do is just get boxes of failed shinies/breeding chains and send those out. I keep whatever I get and if I don't want it, I release it.

We can work together to make Wonder Trade a beautiful place.

Then I sent a trade request to a guy I just met in a forum and gave him that Nosepass and he gave me a Chespin for it, which is a starter I didn't have.

I'm not that anon, but I stopped keeping everything I got when I had several boxes full of junk. Whatever I can get from the ID Lotto isn't worth the used up box space.

Now I release any repeat junkmon (Bunnelby, Caterpie, Weedle, elemental monkies) and keep any unique things (foreign, PokéRus, hidden abilities, decent nicknames).

It's unkown how strict it will be. It might just be checking for super obvious hacks, but ones that look just like legal pokemon probably in my opinion won't be detected. I wouldn't think they'd put it super duper strict, because false positives would be worse than some hacks getting through considering the target audience.

He's in the same grass as Honedge, Oddish, Espurr and Nincada
Nincada is the hardest to find in that grass

It took me all of 3 days of playing to realize I shouldn't go into Wonder Trade expecting anything good.

During the first two days it was just early route shit but now I'm constantly getting hidden abilities (Protean Froakie, Gale Wings Fletchling), uncommon/rare Pokemon with optimal natures (Modest Ralts, Jolly Gible...), starters, and so on. I honestly get much more good stuff than bad stuff. It's awesome!

I used to think they were around the same quality-wise but the more I think about it the things I get from Japan are only "good" because they're foreign and can be used for Masuda Method later. The "good" things I get from there have been some X/Y Pokemon, whereas the "good" things from the U.S. have been things with PokéRus and starters / version exclusives, which are probably better in the long run.

Of course, both are still 80%+ junkmon most of the time, but at least as far as I can tell the U.S. isn't as blatantly recycle-happy as Japan. (Though that's likely because the Pokemon are coming from the same language so it's harder to tell.)
